Terms of Service
Snapshots Now · Effective October 17, 2026
These terms ("Terms") govern your use of the Snapshots Now app and website at snapshotsnow.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Certo Partners LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. Questions: support@certopartners.com.
The Service
Snapshots Now organizes the photos and videos from your events and trips into days, writes recaps, captions and summaries with AI, makes highlight reels, scrapbooks and newsletters, and lets you share them with people you choose: guests who can add their own photos through a link, and followers in groups you create.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your device and sign-in secure. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to use online services where you live if that is higher. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account) or at snapshotsnow.com/delete-account; your data is then deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions and billing
- The app is free to download and to use on the Free plan. Premium is a subscription, monthly or yearly, which starts with a free trial where the store offers one. Both plans have every feature; they differ in their allowances.
- Subscriptions are sold by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), charged to that account, and renew automatically at the same length and price until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge; manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Except where the law requires otherwise, we don't give refunds for partial periods.
- Each plan has allowances: currently 20 AI requests and 2 reels a month and 2 GB of photos and videos on Free, and 200 AI requests, 20 reels and 25 GB on Premium. When a monthly allowance runs out, that feature pauses until the next month; when storage is full, adding pauses until you make room or upgrade. If Premium ends, your account returns to Free; nothing you've made is removed.
- Guests and followers never pay. What a guest adds to your event counts toward your allowances.
- We may change prices or allowances. Price changes reach existing subscriptions only as the store allows, with the notice it requires.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, audio, text and other material you add ("Your Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, display and transmit Your Content only to run the Service for you: to show it to you and the people you share it with, to make the recaps, reels, scrapbooks and newsletters you ask for (including sending it to the AI and voice providers listed in the Privacy Policy for that purpose), and to keep backups. The licence ends when the content is deleted, apart from backup copies kept for the short period the Privacy Policy describes. We don't use Your Content for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI models.
You confirm you have the rights to everything you add and to share it with the people you share it with, including any people shown in it where their permission is needed.
Sharing, guests and followers
- Nothing you add is public unless you share it. A link you send (an album, upload, scrapbook or newsletter link, or a group's follow link) lets whoever has it open what it points to, until you turn it off or make a new one.
- When guests add photos to your event, the guest keeps ownership of their photos and gives you and us the same licence described above, for that event. You decide what stays in your event; guests can remove what they added.
- When you ask us to email your followers or send a newsletter, you confirm the recipients are people who expect to hear from you. Every email we send for you has an unsubscribe link.
- People who follow you can report an event to us; we review reports and may remove content or accounts that break these Terms.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to:
- add or share anything unlawful, or anything that sexualizes minors, threatens, harasses or exploits anyone, or shares someone's private images without their consent;
- infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights;
- send spam, or add people to groups or email lists who haven't asked to hear from you;
- get into accounts, events or data that aren't yours, probe or overload our systems, or get around limits;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service, except where the law allows it.
AI-generated content
Recaps, captions, summaries, narration, photo picks and place names are made automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or not what you meant. Review them before you share them; what you share is your responsibility.
Our property
The Service, its software, design and the Snapshots Now name and logo belong to us and our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service as it's offered, and nothing more.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if it breaks these Terms or the law, or to protect people or the Service. Where reasonable we'll tell you why. If we ever stop offering the Service we'll give you notice and a chance to save your photos and videos first.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We work to keep your content safe, but we don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we recommend you keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before it arose. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Apple App Store
If you got the app from the App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple and it will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple isn't responsible for claims about the app (product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app also follows Apple's Standard End User License Agreement where it doesn't conflict with these Terms.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. Using the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Certo Partners LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in them limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.
